Support Vehicle
This vehicle will be imperative to us completing the challenge. It will carry all of our clothing, food, tents and medical supplies. The driver, John, will be able to meet us at our destinations each day and he should be sufficiently early to make us dinner and hopefully wash our clothes for us. The vehicle will also provide a means of transport for all of our spare parts to our bikes and the actual bikes for when we’re on the ferry.
Without the support vehicle, this journey would be almost impossible to complete and not having it would mean that John is out of a job.
We are looking for a van manufacturer or hire company to lend us a vehicle for the duration of the ride free of charge. The only requirements are:
- Your logo nice and big on the side so it can be seen in the photos
- It must be secure - wouldn't want the bikes going missing!
- Enough room in the back for 6 bikes and our kit
- Air conditioning to keep John cool (not actually essential but would be nice)
- It must be able to go the distance
