London's transport authority, Transport for London (TfL), have awarded the Bike Europe team a grant of £1000 to help cover costs of the expedition and to encourage more young people from the youth club to get involved in cycling. Ian Brown, Managing Director of London Rail, explained that TfL are commited to increasing cycling in London by 40% of projects like Bike Europe are key to inspiring more young people to get in the saddle.
